Names are usually carefully chosen. Still, we all know that finding a good name for a blog, or for a computer, or even for a child, can be a maddening experience, as it takes forever to decide on the right one.
This time it was different.
On my birthday, my wife coaxed me to give the children each a small present. When, in the afternoon, I returned from our room with the small presents for the kids, the oldest, upon realising what was going on, exclaimed: “Daddy! You are the perfect hobbit!” I was extremely surprised: My five-year-old knew about Hobbits, and even about one of their characteristics!
He shouted those words with so much enthusiasm and with such an enormous smile on his face, that the words and the whole experience just stuck with me. Again and again that phrase came popping up in my head during the remainder of that day. And by the next morning I simply had to check if the URL was available.
To my surprise, it was. And so, after a short deliberation, I purchased (rented?) it. You can email me here now.
